Softbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a New Delhi based group company promoted by Automation Group. Automation floated its first company - Automation Heavy Electricals Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1995. This company, basically an electrical and mechanical engineering company, is engagged in the Industrial 'Operations & Maintenance' activities, by providing after sales service to Industrial Generators and Heavy Electric Motors. Woriking as an "Authorised Service Center" for many Indian and MNCs such as NGEF Ltd. - An Indo-German joint venture and Govt. of Karnatka Undertaking, Jyoti Ltd. - Baroda, ELGI Ltd. - Coimbetoor, Kirloskar Pumps Ltd. - Pune, Leroy Somer - France, AVKC - An Indo German Joint Venture and Control Group - Noida, Marathon - USA, Automation has a long list of satisfied clientele to whom it has been providing services for a long time. Observing the pace with which Information Technology field and Internet based business is booming, Automation decided to enter in this field with a new name and floated a company in 2002 with the name a style - Softbit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to cater to the needs of Indian industries mainly. Truely speaking, "Softbit Technologies" is taken from the name of our USA counter part which is a New York based company developing industrial softwares and implementing industruial auotmation.

Jointly both the companies are working hard to develop economical software packages for electrical machine design sector which will work as a design tool for R&D, QA and production professionals. Also the technical training institutes will find these softwares and computer simulations very useful for young engineers.
