Bus Bars are an integral part of an electrical control panel because all the currents, connections have to pass through them. Bus Bar Design depends upon various factors like material of busbar conductor, cross-section of burbar, temperature rise during normal current conditions and short circuited conditions, separation between phases, force on insulators during peak short circuit current, enclosure design - such as busbar chamber or busbar duct etc.,. But with this software you need to select first which conductor (Cu/Al) you want to use for bus bar. After your final layout you get the size - cross section area of bus bar to be used in the panel. You have the option to change the values if you desire so.
